Suspicious Visistor

"Who are you?" I asked the woman standing at the doorstep. She smiled, though it didn’t quite reach her eyes. "You may not remember me, but I am your aunt—your father's cousin." I frowned. "Sorry, but I don’t recognize you. Not even from the past five years. If you’re really Papa’s cousin, why have you never shown up before?" She hesitated.
